About Cnla
The purpose of the Cnla is to provide members in all practice settings with a place to work together, collect data, publish results, network, promote high practice standards, maintain a professional presence, and stay up to date on issues affecting their practice. The concept of the Cnla is to improve patient outcomes by using evidence-based practice at the point of care and focusing on safety and quality outcomes. They are the first new nursing position in more than three decades. They are a master's-prepared advanced generalist who serves as the lateral integrator for the health care team and facilitates coordinates and oversees care within the microsystem and in collaboration with the macro system. They were presented by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing. They are professionals in nursing who have completed a formal education program to earn a master's or post-master degree.
