Chris Knight Creations owned their first electric saw nearly 25 years ago. They wanted to turn a photo of a nativity scene into a three-dimensional piece of art using wood to get their inspiration. They have always had the ability to abstractly visualize everyday events. They created the nativity scene and transported it to a mall kiosk, where it was sold that day. They put down the saw despite their obvious talent for woodworking and instead pursued their passion for photography and capturing moments on camera. In 2012, Chris Knight Creations opened an Etsy shop to sell their photography, which included prints on canvas and unusual surfaces like stone and wood tiles. They had a few sales, but they wanted to try something new and expand the audience for their work.
