The founder of Carrie LaChance grew up in dover-Folcroft, Maine. Like many young women, he dreamed of becoming a model and actress. In 2003, shortly after graduating from high school, he enrolled in beauty school and became a licensed beautician. To make ends meet, he doubles as a cashier, hostess, telemarketer and pizza delivery man. One night, while working at a local restaurant, he met a photographer who wanted to photograph with him. He realized this might be the opportunity he was looking for, and eagerly arranged the first shoot of the day. After a lot of shooting, he realized that his modeling career was just beginning. He began to incorporate his love of fashion and high heels into all his photos. His passion for crazy heels and his unique stitch style eventually formed the basis of Carrie LaChance brand.
