Since 1969, Capatriti has been firmly committed to quality. This began when two Greek immigrants opened a grocery market in Queens, New York, importing specialty foods including olive oil from Europe. Two generations later, it has earned Capati cooking oil a reputation and continues to set them apart from their competitors. Capatriti's artisans select the highest quality olive oil from the best olive-growing countries in the world instead of relying on olive oil harvested from olive groves owned by a single country or company, including Argentina, Chile, Egypt, Greece, and Italy, Lebanon, Spain, Tunisia and Turkey. Under very careful and serious supervision, their olive oil is imported in large quantities.
