About Canals
Easton's Hugh Moore Park is a beautiful expansion of the City of Easton where America's brilliant period of trenches is on full showcase. With multiple miles of reestablished Lehigh Canal, a Canals boat fascination dissimilar to some other in Pennsylvania and the remainder of the Northeast, and one of the country's biggest waterway legacy exhibition halls, the 520-section of land park settled between the Lehigh Canal and Lehigh River is a return to the years when donkeys pulling Canals boats on restricted towpaths was a typical sight in a large part of the United States east of the Mississippi River.
