February Countdown — 20% at Caketini

At the end of 2010, Cathy and her husband Mike opened Caketini in the village of Santan, continuing their long-standing family tradition. Caketini is growing and gaining widespread recognition in the valley as a place to go for a bake creation. Baking has been passed on to their family for three generations. For them, desserts have always been a comfort food, and they want to share desserts that grew up with them. Since its official opening in October 2010, it has flourished in the popular SanTan Village plus another location at Scottsdale Fashion Plaza. The bakery sells gourmet cakes, cupcakes, truffle cakes and various pastries, all of which are baked on-site at Gilbert. If given enough attention, this shop can also make some award-winning custom cakes-all of which are made with the passion of baking for generations.
