Butler Arts Center is home to Butler University’s event facilities, including performance venues, meeting rooms, outdoor spaces and housing. Its performance venue receives more than 200,000 tourists every year, of which 30,000 come from the student daytime series. Butler Arts Center consists of five venues, including the flagship venue Clowes Memorial, the 475-seat Schrott Art Center, the nearly 400-seat Shelton Auditorium, and the 135-seat Addison Duckwall recital hall And Lilly Hall Studio Theater. Programs include the Butler Art Performance Series, BAEC Education Day Course Series, Jordan Art Institute Performance, Indianapolis Broadway Performance, various Butler Lecture Series, performances by local performing arts organizations, and various national touring performances. In addition, the Butler Campus also has dozens of meeting and event venues, suitable for weddings, summer camps, seminars, and conferences.
