About Canton Ballet
Canton Ballet was designed by the famous Austrian-born architect, John Eberson of Chicago, who became famous in the 1920s by creating "Atmospheric" theaters (including the city theater of Akron) in various cities in the United States. Above the stage of the theater is a gorgeously decorated column-shaped front arch, many exquisite flight systems for stage curtains and stage backgrounds, 11 dressing rooms, a chorus room, a musician’s lounge, a music room, a shower room and a bathroom A music pool for 18 musicians. In addition, the size of the palace screen is 21 feet x 46 feet, which is still the largest movie screen in Guangzhou. Today, Canton Ballet has renewed its vitality. As an important multi-functional entertainment facility, its big tent is burning brightly 60 feet above the market avenue, and you are welcome to enter its lobby as part of the nostalgic history of Guangzhou.
