About Brantwood Farms
The story of Brantwood Farm and their family dates back more than 100 years. Their great-great-grandfather James Pat founded Brantwood Farm as early as 1905. In another 45 years, they will not be open to the public. At that time, their grandparents Jim and Doreen Pate started selling fresh vegetables from the garage to the locals. Since then, they have grown and transformed into a family market operation that most people know today. Since 1891, the Pats have lived and farmed in Brandt County. Over time, every aspect of the farm has changed over the decades, and their enthusiasm and dedication to agriculture has remained the same. Brantwood Farms's goal is to bring the best domestically and locally produced fruits, vegetables and commodities to their communities. From rhubarb to strawberries, apples, sweet corn and pumpkins, Brantwood Farms grows various fruits and vegetables on his farm. What they don't grow themselves, they get it from local growers and producers.
