What opera the Thompson Street Opera House reimagined. The Thompson Street Opera Company was founded in 2011 in a small studio apartment on Thompson Street, Ann Arbor, Michigan. At Athenaeum Theatre, they are both cultural resources and a forum for groups and audiences of new and old artists in the Lakeview community and the Greater Chicago area. Athenaeum Theatre's purpose is not only to allow performers to participate in the creative process as art collaborators, but also to create a highly friendly working environment where performers are supported emotionally and artistically.
