Armand Nicolet story begins in Tramelan, a small town in the Bernese Jura, around 1875. After a successful apprenticeship, the son of a watchmaker, established his Atelier d'Horlogerie. By creating a pocket watch in 1902 with a guilloché rose gold case, enamel dial, single button chronograph function, complete calendar, repeating hours, quarter hours, and minutes, he demonstrated his technical maturity. Armand Nicolet also improved his technical abilities during those years by conducting significant research on design that would have an impact on his subsequent work. His watches, which are masterpieces of pure beauty, quality, and precision, can still be found in the museum of Nicolet SA and continue to pique the interest of collectors from around the world.
