Alderwood Coupons February — 20% Expiring!

In 1991, the area of Alderwood in Lynnwood, Washington, had changed a lot from when the Puget Mill Company had logged this land, 70 years earlier. 32 current and former residents got together to form them because they were worried about these changes and the possibility, a once-proud community, would soon be gone. Alderwood became a 501(c)(3) non profit organization in Washington state in October 1991. The exhibit Reclaiming the Roots was created by the Association in 1992 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of them. After making its debut at the Edmonds Historical Museum, this exhibit made its way to a number of locations throughout Snohomish County. In recognition of this exhibit, the League of Snohomish County Heritage Organizations bestowed the Malstrom Award on the Association in 1995.
