About AEA
In 1976, they began servicing ribbon microphones, and by 1998, they manufactured 100% of the components for RCA 44. They decided to release 44 of their version, so AEA was born. Since the birth of R44C, it has expanded to design and build new ribbon microphones, each with unique applications and functions, using the same RCA tradition. For many years, AEA has advanced ribbon technology, using new materials and updated manufacturing technology. They now make a whole line with microphones, each of which gives musicians a unique sound signature. Every microphone on the store line has been developed to meet the needs and solve problems like engineers and musicians. Before putting the microphone on the test stand, they always listen first. A microphone may measure well, but this does not mean it sounds good.
