AD Players is a professional resident theater company founded in 1967 by actress and playwright Janet Cliff George. The company recently moved to a new performance home, the 440-seat Janet and L.M. George Theater, located at 5420 Westheimer Road, Houston, Texas. These actors have created a unique style of drama dedicated to the production of plays and programs that preserve human values, provide creativity, and promote literacy and education. The company holds 6 main stage performances and 4 children's theater performances every year, sets up a national touring performance unit, and has a year-round performing arts college. AD Players is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. They share their mission with volunteers, community colleagues, and those who make their work possible through their support.
