About 7 Vines Vineyard
Ron and Arlie Peltier, proprietors, were high school sweethearts who lived on the east side of St. Paul. Both of them went to the University of Minnesota, got married young, and they lived in Dellwood and had two kids there. 7 Vines Vineyard always had a passion for real estate, and it was a gift to be able to spot great opportunities in the most unlikely places. That vision was also the impetus behind the establishment of 7 Vines Vineyard, which fueled many of their great accomplishments. Ron and Arlie first made contact with Peter and Gertrude Ffolliott toward the end of the 1980s to purchase the property that Gertrude's grandfather had given to her mother, Rachel Boeckmann. In the early 1900s, her grandfather, railroad baron James J. Hill, owned enormous tracts of undeveloped land throughout Minnesota.
