About 601 Cellars
The fascination of boutique, old-world European-style California wines that employ cutting-edge winemaking methods from around the world serves as the inspiration for 601 Cellars. French and neutral oak barrels are used in a balanced manner to mature the small batch wines. They work hard to preserve the diversity of California fruit while also showcasing the distinctive history of each hand-selected varietal in every bottle they produce. They bought a second house in the Napa Valley after spending many years travelling from the East to the Bay area. 601 Cellars always appeared to be able to disconnect and unwind when they returned to the Valley after arduous weeks on the road. They decided to leave the frantic lifestyles back east behind because of its small-town charm, simple pleasures, and the inviting nature of its inhabitants.
