About 42 Degrees
The degree is designed to ensure that the rights, needs and strengths of the various SOGIESC (aka LGBTIQ +) peoples are addressed in international humanitarian and development programs. The degree is an Australian non-profit organization established at the end of 2018. At 42 Degrees, they understand that people are not only defined by SOGIESC, but there may be many other intersecting experiences, such as women, people with disabilities, indigenous peoples, sex workers, etc. And many others-and they need to make people a whole person. At 42 Degrees, they are looking for someone who can bring vitality, creativity and a commitment to change. But they also care about how they work: solidarity with communities and civil society organizations, and work with humanitarian and development actors. They are looking for someone who feels comfortable in a dynamic, sometimes unpredictable environment of a relatively new organization. Sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression and gender characteristics.
