About Yamato Indigo
Yamato Indigo is indigo powder color created by Aikuma Senryo, a company established in 1818 in Tokyo. The company was initially a Chinese home grown pharmacist and afterward started providing coloring supplies. Within the 1870's, when indigo was outstandingly important, Aikuma Senryo created a strategy for extricating the indigo shades from ancient indigo-dyed texture. By bubbling the texture in water, a clay-like color called airou (indigo wax) was made. Airou got to be a prevalent choice for dyers until engineered indigo inevitably got to be accessible in Japan. Based on this strategy of making airou, Aikuma Senoryo made them, a powder color comprising of extricates from indigo plants, chemical indigo, antacid operator, and lessening operator. Yamato Indigo is sold and disseminated only by Inquisitive Corners in North America.
