Robert H. Gammon established Woodside Orchards in 1982 as a modest wholesale apple farm off Manor Lane in Jamesport, New York. Woodside Orchards began as a small apple orchard run by a family that sold fresh fruit and baked goods. After school Roberts children Robert L.
