Wine Barrel Workshop had the chance to find uses for their empty barrels when they launched the Hawley Tasting Room in downtown Healdsburg in the winter of 2009. Thus, Wine Barrel Workshop tasting bar was built using only woven French barrel staves. Their friend Bob Tinsley later introduced them to the wine barrel adirondack chair. They served as seating in their tasting room. They was quite interested in making more chairs as soon as they finished the first one. They've started their own business making unique barrel furniture in response to demand. When they're not out selling wine or working at the tasting room, they like to spend time in their backyard workshop building furniture out of their recycled wine barrels. About all of the materials used to create the products are recycled.
