Village Ice Cream founder Billy Friley found himself on the porch of his grandmother Gladys, fresh from a motorcycle journey through South America. He came across a pint of rich, freshly made huckleberry ice cream here that changed his life. Billy was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, and he has fond memories of his childhood home, which was filled with friends and family and served extraordinary meals almost every day.
