About Urban Mode
Urban Mode Second Story is a hip, one-of-a-kind lifestyle shop packed with quirky items, vibrant colors, and a love of creativity and good design. The beginning of Queen Street West was in 1977. A very special little shop sparked a wave of lifestyle stores in Toronto amid boarded-up windows, junk shops, antique stores, and antique stores. In the following 43 years, Myrlene Sundberg and John Palchinski opened three stores at Queens Quay Terminal, three more on Queen West, and together they co-owned G-3, a hip Japanese apparel boutique adjacent to Peter Pan Cafe. They never looked back. The Second Story became Urban Mode in 1983 as they relocated across the street to a bigger location. Up to 3 levels with a fantastic warehouse area at the back named.
