Since 1967, members of Twin Oaks Hammocks have lived and worked in rural Virginia. Their handmade hammocks and chairs reflect their pride in work and their commitment to your satisfaction. Because Double Oak Park is both their home and their workplace, Twin Oaks Hammocks know that the quality of their work affects all aspects of their lives. This is why they are confident that you will be completely satisfied with their excellent products and reliable service. Since the establishment of the community, their lifestyle has reflected their values of cooperation, sharing, non-violence, equality and ecology. They have no collective religion; their beliefs are diverse. They do not have a central leader; they manage themselves in a democratic manner, with responsibilities shared by different managers, planners, and committees. They are financially self-sufficient and partially self-sufficient.
