About Thompson Center
In 1965, K. W. Thompson Tool was looking for a product to be made, and the gunsmith Warren Center was looking for someone to make his "competitor"® pistol. This is a perfect match. Expanded the facilities of the K. W. Thompson tool and formed Thompson Center. Two years later, the first competitive pistol went on the market, opening up the trend of high-performance hunting pistols, which are growing every year. More than 400,000 pistols have been sold so far, and the versatility, accuracy and reliability of this pistol are not challenged by professional pistol shooters. Since the initial production of competitors' pistols, Thompson Center has expanded its facilities and product lines numerous times. In 1970, the store entered the black powder market and introduced their first muzzle loading rifle, Hawken. At that time, people were very interested in rifles, and the market needed high-quality rifles.
