The Dirty Buffalo is possessed and worked by Western New York local and ODU alum Russell Gilbert. Russ experienced childhood in a humble community outside Rochester, New York prior to moving to Buffalo where he met his better half, Stephanie. The couple endured quite a long while scooping snow and chowing down on the City of Good Neighbors' notorious charge prior to traveling south to Virginia in 2005. Upon appearance in the Hampton Roads region, Russ and Steph savored the brilliant daylight and cordial individuals, however, they couldn't find a café where they could partake in the genuine Buffalo-style chicken wings they'd become used to eating. In the wake of experiencing childhood in the café business, Russ could imagine one answer for this noticeable void. Thus, while he completed his promoting degree at ODU, Russ set to handle making The Dirty Buffalo, a family-accommodating eatery and sports bar including his own translation of his #1 Western New York dishes.
