About Sunflair
How Sunflair came to be: Melinda Seller grew up in a rural or country setting, so she enjoys being outdoors. She used to compete in endurance events on horses and hike the hills and creeks nearby. She often stopped at a native site near the creek to think about how the ancient people went about their daily lives and were in touch with nature and the rhythms of the earth. She was inspired by her father, who worked in construction and had installed solar heating systems on a home development in the 1970s. Her husband's ten years of employment at Disney ended during the recession. Her oven then failed a few months later. She began experimenting with sun-based cooking. The concept wasn't novel. Several hundred years had passed since it first appeared. Sunflair was astonished at how scrumptious the food was. Additionally, it saved money on utility bills by not using the air conditioner or heating the house.
