Soqs is known as the largest outdoor quilt show in the world, featuring over 1300 quilts created by fiber artists from all over the world. On the second Saturday in July, Sisters attracts more than 10,000 visitors from all 50 states and multiple nations. During Quilt Week, master quilters lead classes and workshops and display their work at their annual Quilt Show. In addition, throughout the town of Sisters, hundreds of quilts, including those made by youth, first-time quilters, and men, are displayed in their "show-and-tell" exhibits. The quilts on display come to them from all over the world, and the quilt exhibitors range in age from 10 to 92. You can buy many of the quilts that are on display with a portion of the money going to Soqs, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that organizes fiber arts events throughout the year and the annual, free Quilt Show.
