About Sid's Bikes
More than 40 years ago, in the Inwood neighborhood of Upper Manhattan, there was a small shop called Auto, which was formerly a humble shop. As the name suggests, Sid's Bikes is an auto parts store, but in addition, it can also perform lockthe founder and small appliance repairs. Soon, a large number of customers interested in commuting by bicycle and a new trend of physical exercise expanded the store's bicycle area beyond other departments. In 1979, the chain store Auto was officially renamed Sid's Bikes. "Sid" is the nickname of the shop owner. With a new focus, a new location is in the Riverdale area of the Bronx. At this point, the business turned almost entirely to bicycles. However, consistent with its foundation, customers can still get lockthe founder services while repairing their bicycles.
