Soldiers Charity helped 65, 000 people in 48 countries last year, placing them at the forefront of support for the Army family. Soldiers Charity give grants to individuals and their families and support leading organizations that help soldiers, former soldiers, and their families. They are one of the largest funders in the sector. Len Gibbon, a World War II veteran, and Helen McMahon, their Case Studies Liaison, are pictured together. When they hear about a person or family in need, they aim to respond within 48 hours. Their vision is that every veteran, serving soldier, and member of their immediate family should be able to live independently and with dignity. They are the Army's national charity, supporting serving and former soldiers and their families in times of need for a lifetime.
