The unique history of Snowy Mountain Lodge Lodge goes back to the early 1900s when the lodge's Conference Room was a tiny mountain home. As the years progressed and the cabin's numerous proprietors, the first design has been added on to, redesigned, and modernized a few times. Laramie Valley Chapel, based in Laramie, Wyoming, is the current owner and operator of the lodge. When they bought Snowy Mountain Lodge in 2011, they wanted to see it restored and made available to the public as a lodge for guests and a retreat center for ministries in the area. For the vast majority of the cold weather months, the hotel is a usual hangout spot for the vast majority of winter sports lovers as they partake in the nearness to the ski region and snowmobile, snowshoe and cross-country trails.
