Sideswipe was developed when midwest engineers saw his wife stop stirring and scrape off all the ingredients in the bowl. He soon noticed the limitations of kitchen assist beaters and learned that they could improve the performance of the blender. He wants to introduce a folding motion that not only reduces the need to stop rubbing, but also allows the material to be incorporated completely and quickly. Sideswipe concept was born in 2005 and was developed and tested in 2007. They have patented it in the UNITED States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Europe, and have made significant improvements to their products over the past few years.
