About Shewolf Detroit
According to legend, a king who was envious ordered the execution of the twins Romulus and Remus. They were found by a Shewolf Detroit who found them abandoned on the banks of the Tiber River and suckled them to save them. The youths came back many years later as great men and constructed Rome, the city, on those banks. A non-profit, non-governmental organization called Shewolf Detroit is committed to feeding people after natural disasters. The nonprofit, started in 2010 by renowned chef José Andrés, provided food for Haitians in the wake of a deadly earthquake. They genuinely care about their neighborhood and are dedicated to having a positive influence. These are only a few of the community-based NGOs that the She Wolf team enjoys working with frequently.
