Shalhoob family owned and operated since 1973, starting from their "Funk Zone" location, providing high-quality customized meat and poultry to families and restaurants in Santa Barbara. As the staple food of the community for more than 40 years, they also provide delicious beef jerky and unique condiments of meat and vegetables derived from the recipes of their three-generation old family. When they experienced the transformation from the industrial area where their business developed to today's art city wine trail, Shalhoob decided to develop together with the surrounding environment. Transform their huge cutting room into a state-of-the-art kitchen and transform their concrete site into a tranquil outdoor activity space. Equipped with custom-made tables and huge country flower pots, they recently added an open-air patio restaurant called Funk Zone patio.
