Kait experienced significant stress in her life before starting Savorista, including never-ending work hours, a parent who had cancer, and anxiety. Kait drank copious amounts of coffee to get out of bed, more coffee to get her through the afternoon slump, worked until two in the morning, and couldn't sleep because of the day's excessive caffeine intake. Savorista felt nervous, frightened, and on the verge of collapse as everything she cared about began to fall apart around her. She could not contemplate giving up coffee, despite the fact that it was clear that caffeine was a major factor. She cherished the ritual, taste, and connections forged over a cup of coffee. And to make matters even more difficult, she was unable to find decaf coffee.
