In April 2014, Beth Reeb launched Savage Swim. She started the idea in her one-car garage, struggling for pennies in the bank and facing foreclosure. She built the brand organically. In her first year, she shuttled between three small garages, putting all her money back into the business. In February 2015, she converted a commercial building into a studio and showroom for Savage's headquarters. It’s a 1,500-square-foot Jiffy Lube machine shop with no air-conditioning and only six bay doors to open for fresh air every morning. They spent a month transforming it into their landmark store, which was filled with giant pictures of women and athletes in their swimsuits. After several seasons of rapid growth, Savage Swim has been out of space. Less than two years after the renovation, they now have a 4,000-square-foot showroom/studio in St Augustine Beach Florida, with space expanded as they continue to build on this vision and brand.
