About Santa Barbara Winery
Pierre Lafond, 32, founded the first post-Prohibition commercial winery in Santa Barbara County in 1962. Two years later, he found a winery on Anacapa Street, just two blocks from the Pacific Ocean. Santa Barbara Winery has become a very visible and successful wine concern, winning many MEDALS for a series of wines. To meet the needs of the consumer masses, Santa Barbara Winery is undergoing a massive expansion. Over the years, they have been awarded the opportunity to produce nationally recognized award-winning Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Syrah. They are happy to share some of their recent winning entries.
