About Phillips Farm
Phillips Farm Farms are proud of its more than one hundred years of family ownership and high-quality farm products for central North Carolina. In 1976, Lee Phillips, the current owner, purchased them from William Busbee Ennis's estate. Straw, hay, and tobacco were the primary crops grown on the farm. They opened a successful strawberry-picking farm in 1996, which is now visited annually by thousands of adults and their children. In 1998, they stopped growing tobacco products due to market shifts and concerns about public health. Phillips Farm Farms sells Christmas trees every December and continues to grow hay, straw, corn, and strawberry crops throughout the year. The ranch's significant attractions are the family Corn Labyrinth and Tormented Homestead. The farm attracts thousands of families who come for a good dose of family fun and a scary moment.
