About Pennfishing
Since Pennfishing was founded by Otto Henze in 1932, they have been at the forefront of modern roll design and production. They are proud that millions of experienced anglers around the world place their confidence in PENN products every day. That's what motivates them to continue their founder's dream of making the highest quality fishing tackle in the world. In February 1933, Pennfishing sold its first car to Miller Auto Supply Company in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Miller paid $1.21 for each roll in Pennsylvania a Seahawk, $1.93 for the Bay and $2.48 for Long Beach. Otto Henze is in business. In 1936 they released their most famous scroll, "Senator". This is a revolutionary new reel capable of challenging the biggest and most powerful game fish.
