In 1983, Paper Plus Group (originally called Nationwide Stationers) began as a co-op of five book and stationery retailers. By the second year, it had 62 members. The level of growth and brand awareness are so high that it was necessary to reshape the brand in 1987, and Paper Plus brand emerged in the national retail industry. The It Group now includes It, It Select, Take Note and Office Spot stores, with strong influence in both the city and the provincial center. The brand has become an iconic retail brand in the book and stationery industry and is highly recognized and recognized in New Zealand. It has a strong presence in both the city and the provincial center. There are more than 100 stores from Kerikeri to Invercargill.
