OSU Beaver Store is a non-profit company managed by students and they have supported the OSU community since its inception in 1914. They run Oregon State University's official campus store in downtown Portland, Clackamas Town Center and Keizer, and they serve alumni and fans at the store. The members are entitled to a 10 per cent discount on full price goods licensed by it at any OSU Beaver Store or OSU Alumni Association sales venue. The Alumni Association was founded on Monday, February 3, 1873, when it was meeting in the office of President Benjamin Lee Arnold in the old building of Colvalis College in the center of the city. Official approval of the organization and elections for its officials were held on 18 June. Since then, the association has continued to serve and is by far the oldest organization on campus that has no direct academic ties.
