Ormsby Guitars claim that making instruments is a calling rather than a career. It draws you in. That is unquestionably accurate. Rarely do they decide that they want to make guitars when they grow up. But that's how things were. They did dream of making fine instruments as children. Carpenters were their first occupation. They preferred the fine woodworking, so it was acceptable. They moved on to an apprenticeship in cabinet making and finished their time there with the highest grades ever recorded for their state.
