Her lifelong love with plants and the patterns they produce led her to make elaborate flower crowns out of leaves and vines as a youngster and steal roses from the gardens of her neighbors. Love may lead kids into odd gardens, and this teen's OFFERINGS love of plants and making beautiful things led her across the country to the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
