OEMDTC Safety 1st onBoard 35 Secure Tech, Maxi-Cosi Coral XP, Maxi-Cosi Mico XP Max, Maxi-Cosi Mico XP, Maxi-Cosi Mico Luxe+, and Maxi-Cosi Infant Base child seats are being recalled by Dorel Juvenile Group (Dorel). For specific model numbers, please refer to the recall report from Dorel. The child seat may detach if the lower seat anchors that hold the base of the seat fail. As a result, Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 213, "Child Restraint Systems, " does not apply to these child seats. Remedy Until the seat is fixed, owners should only use the vehicle belt restraint system to secure their child seats. Owners will receive a free replacement base via mail from Dorel. Letters informing the owner are expected to be sent out on April 7, 2023.
