NYE Uniform was founded by John Nye in the center of Grand Rapids in 1935. Their more than 18,000-square-foot factory has a 3,500-square-foot showroom dedicated to uniforms and accessories and accommodates all aspects of their business, including tailoring and embroidery. They moved to their current location northwest of Grand Rapids in 1998. He also had to buy the button of the uniform hat he had bought there a week ago-the lady said it should be included, but still charged. NYE Uniform is the largest inventory distributor of public safety uniforms and equipment in Michigan. Their 34-foot-long trailer provides on-site access to medical facilities, nursing homes and hospitals and facilitates travel shops. In January 2015, the company replaced the trailer with a new mobile device. The new larger unit will provide shoppers with more items and a better layout, which will give them a better shopping experience.
