About Music Maker
Music Maker looking for the carrier of America's oldest root music tradition. They have established long-term relationships with knowledgeable and experienced artists who have excel in these traditions. The Music Maker program serves the most disadvantaged artists who are marginalized by age, poverty, race, gender, etc. Because these artists are the least likely to have the resources to share their music information with the world. They have difficulty reaching a wider audience and often lack the tools needed to realize their creative potential. They mainly focus on musicians aged 55 and above, and they only provide financial assistance to people whose annual income is less than $25,000 or who are facing a crisis. They also collaborate with some emerging musicians and often collaborate with senior artists who wish to inherit their traditions.
