On a stormy morning in November 1993, with a line of Philadelphians standing by to attempt their just-heated breads, they opened Metropolitan Bakery. The future colleagues initially met at Philadelphia spearheading ranch to table eatery White Dog Café, where they are overseeing accomplice and the baked good cook.
