Mauldin Cultural Center was made to set, up create and advance a social framework that celebrates the Mauldin community, leverages the arts for the financial advantage of the City and its citizens, and endeavors to provide all citizens and guests the capacity to involvement and take an interest in aesthetic and social exercises in an exertion to persistently create a more dynamic community. Mauldin Cultural Center is the item of community accomplices all with the vision of creating a social center for the City of Mauldin. Initially Mauldin Tall School, and afterward Mauldin Rudimentary School, the building was constructed in 1937 as a WPA Venture and has since seen some minor upgrades as the schools grew. In 2003, the City of Mauldin started the method of acquiring the 14 section of land property as the primary step toward making a City Center.
