About Lone Pine Hotel
Lone Pine Hotel was one of the primary lodgings in Batu Ferringhi, which converts into 'Outsider's Rock'. The historical backdrop of Lone Pine Hotel returns to 1948 when a home along Batu Ferringhi Beach was transformed into a family-run lodging with only 10 rooms, all of which stand to date. The proprietor then, at that point, an Australian, Dr. Albert S. McKern mixed up the singular casuarina tree he saw there as a pine tree and named the property 'Solitary Pine'. Till now, the grass of the inn is very much concealed by tall casuarina trees. They extended in 1950s because of interest for more lodgings, adding two additions. Block 1 was a solitary story working with eight rooms and Block 2 was a twofold story working with another eight rooms.
