Locus searches through tens of thousands of designs and illustrations created by artists to locate the ideal pieces to license or commission for distribution. After that, they modify, combine, and edit the artwork in-house to fit the mousepad format. Artwork and design concepts from graphic designers and artists are also directly commissioned by them. Locus products are currently manufactured in a vetted factory in China; however, they are looking to move their supply chain to India and the United States. Their new pads make use of a hybrid-control surface that is nearly identical to the artisan hien and aqua control. They recommend rinsing off in the shower or bathtub after a light scrub with mild soap.
