The official website of Lebanon Opera House, this is one of the largest venues in the Connecticut River Valley in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Tickets, venue information, etc. Built in 1924, LOH was originally a juggling theater, community meeting place and city hall. The City of Lebanon recognized that it had no capacity to manage facilities, so in 1991 the City Council established a non-profit organization to take over these responsibilities. Bowie's dedication has created a new era of LOH life. All activities are conducted by Ralph Bowie with the help of music teacher Ken Munsey. The organization, called Lebanon Opera House Improvement Company, is committed to realizing the company ’s full potential and making it a diverse community resource in Lebanon and the entire Upper Valley. The company is the only community-based theater in Midwestern New Hampshire and the cultural focus of the larger Lebanese community.
